Soybean Biodiesel
Renewable biodiesel made from soybean in southern Mississipi. This is an quick look at the process of making biodiesel at this plant. The plant is located just east of Jackson in Pearl.
The plant produces approximately 7000 gallons of biodiesel each day. As mentioned in the video, making biodiesel from soybean is a very long term approach to relying less on oil for energy.
For as long as crops can still be grown, so will we still be able to make biodiesel at plants like these.
